The PRIME Registry can help your practice with 2017 MIPS reporting…but only if you register by July 31, 2017!
In order to utilize The PRIME Registry for 2017 MIPS reporting, practices must enroll in the PRIME Registry by July 31, 2017. Completing your PRIME registration sooner will allow you more time to integrate your EHR system, review your performance data, and make any needed adjustments to maximize your MIPS participation.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT CERTAIN EHRS: For many EHRs, PRIME's technology vendor- FIGmd- will use the Registry Practice Connector data extraction tool to pull your EHR data into the registry. This tool must be installed by August 31, 2017 if your practice would like to use PRIME for 2017 MIPS reporting.
The PRIME Registry is designed to support reporting in the first three categories of the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) (the final category, Cost, will be calculated by Medicare with claims data)
MIPS Eligible Professionals (EPs) will report on three categories:
- Quality Measures-Replaces PQRS
- Improvement Activities-New category
- Advancing Care Information-Replaces the Medicare EHR Incentive Program also known as Meaningful Use
- Cost-Replaces the Value-Based Modifier
