Small/Solo Practices

PRIME Registry was originally launched by the ABFM to help smaller, independent practices meet the ramped up reporting requirements as the Medicare payment models shifted from fee for service to value based payments.

With a streamlined view of the quality measures your practice is tracking, easy data exports and tools to make that data available for other programs, PRIME Registry can help your practice take advantage of the payment incentives that are best for you.

PRIME Registry supports all primary care practices and multiple specialties, and can track and report data to CMS on your behalf for MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs and RNs.

Accountable Care Organizations

PRIME Registry can support the quality performance tracking and reporting ACOs need. With PRIME Registry, ACOs and their member practices can compare EHR quality data, PRIME Registry metrics, and payer data against each other to better validate data and negotiate with payers. PRIME also has quality and patient-reported outcomes measures eligible for the Quality Payment Program, and can streamline sharing quality data between ACOs and member practices, bringing multiple data sources into a unified platform, making it easier to get the data needed to help every member of the ACO prosper.

Health Care IT Consultants

PRIME Registry is frequently recommended by Health IT Consultants to help clients operationalize their EHR data for quality reporting, CMS compliance and more. PRIME Registry works by pulling the data from a practice EHR and mapping it to practice selected quality measures, and calculating a the performance score based on that data. PRIME makes it easy to see performance scores, drill down on the underlying patient information, identify gaps in care, and generate reports. PRIME Registry can be a perfect partner for your HIT services.

Academic Medical Centers

PRIME Registry can be a great resource for Academic Medical Centers and residency programs. PRIME registry gives AMCs the opportunity to train residents in successfully navigating the value-based payment environment as a part of their medical practice, as well as imprinting behaviors related to continuous quality improvement through quality assessment and Performance Improvement activities.

Track Quality Over Time in user-Friendly Dashboard

The dashboard data are pulled from the EHR by the National Provider Identifier under which a visit is billed; however, even if residents bill under the preceptor NPI, the longitudinal quality data are still valuable, and can be monitored and exported for reporting and analysis.

Population Health Tools & Curriculum

One of the tools of particular value to AMCs is the PHATE population health tool, included in the dashboard with every PRIME Registry participation. PHATE provides clinicians with a fuller understanding of their patient population in the context of their community.

Clinically Integrated Networks/Quality Improvement Networks

PRIME Registry is the largest national Qualified Clinical Data Registry for Primary Care, and can reliably extract or receive EHR data for serving practice, reporting, and research needs.

We have formed a HIPAA-compliant research consortium with Stanford University that enables research relationships with multiple universities and partnerships. We currently have research projects supported by several organizations. The research consortium with secured external access could allow PBRNs to access comparison data from a broader clinical network. We are also in the process of OMOP transformation for deidentification of the EHR data to create even more utility while minimizing risk to patient and practice confidentiality.
